Composura is the company behind a growing set of software products for entrepreneurs. We build them, own them and run them.
The name
Composura sits between two words. Compose: putting separate parts together into one whole. Composure: staying calm. Both describe how we want to work, and how we want our software to feel.
A portfolio of products that each stand alone, held together by one company with a steady hand.
The mark
Three unequal parts that together form exactly one square. The products differ in size and purpose; together they make one company. Nothing is missing and nothing is left over.
The proportions of the mark return throughout this site: in the width of the columns, in the spacing, in the way text and white space divide the page.
We would rather ship one thing that works than five that nearly do.
We work in small steps and take the time to get the details right: the words on a button, what happens when something goes wrong, how fast a page loads on a slow connection.
We plan in years, not quarters. A product you rely on should still be here, and still be cared for, the next time you need it.
